Mohammed Bouzaidi is president of Patriot IT and Security in Bay Shore, New York, a specialist in sales and installation of security alarms, satellite television, and satellite internet services. The company, which he founded in 2008, employs some 25 technicians who install satellite internet and television, and it plans to cross-train these and other technicians to install solar pa nel systems. As a provider of security solutions, Patriot is licensed by the State of New York for both residential and commercial applications. The company is a member of the American National Burglar and Fire Association.Patriot’s security products include CCTV, access controls and intrusion detection.
In 2009, Mohammed Bouzaidi took the company to a new level, as the fulfillment agent for HughesNet Broadband satellite. In this capacity, Patriot has installed internet backup connection to major clients including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), New York City Police Department (NYPD), BP, Hess, Exxon, Kohl’s Department Stores, Costco, TJ Maxx, and AMC and Regal Movie Theaters. In recent sales quarters, Mohammed Bouzaidi has guided Patriot to Gold and Ruby dealer status in recognition of the company’s high-volume HughesNet satellite installation.
Mohammed Bouzaidi sees expansion into the green energy industry as a natural outgrowth of Patriot’s satellite industry work. The company is developing a sales and installation division that will be targeting its existing customer base — commercial and residential — in partnership with other alternative energy providers. And he aspires to develop an international presence: the company was selected in March 2011 to be part of a U.S. Commerce Department Trade Mission to Morocco.
Mohammed Bouzaidi started his career as an auditor for the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Morocco in 1984, having graduated from the Ecole Nationale D’Administration Publique in Rabat. He earned a Master’s Degree in Public Finance from the Universite de Droit d’Economie etdes Sciences Sociales de Paris, Paris 2 (Sorbonne) before immigrating to the United States, where he continued coursework toward a Master’s in Business Administration at Hofstra University with a concentration in finance.
